There are three pretty bedrooms:
1 double, 1 twin, and 1 single. Each room has
antique furniture, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, home-made
biscuits and carafes of filtered water. The bathrooms are fully
renovated in contemporary style with good showers, fluffy towels
and bath robes.
There is a hard tennis court
available for use. Guests
must wear the correct shoes. Balls but not rackets
are provided.
Guests are welcome to relax
in the garden with a book or just sit and enjoy the peace and
quiet.
Office facilities can be provided
for a small fee.
Internet connection is available in the home office but not in the guest quarters.
If secure parking is required,
it can be provided behind locked gates.
The house lends itself to group
bookings, and this has proved popular due to our close proximity
to the racing at Silverstone. In this context, private
dinner parties can be arranged to suit all situations -
around a large table in the farmhouse kitchen, in the limestone-flagged
dining room with the door open to the garden, or in the outside
dining area, lit by candles, with cane sofas in which to relax
with a pre-dinner drink. Take
your pick.
